Set in the tranquil hamlet of Ledsham in the Cheshire countryside Court Farm is a 16th Century Listed Farmhouse set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens with an ornamental pond and a lake that supports a vast array of wildlife.

The house was originally the Court House for the area and in the past we are led to believe that prisoners were brought here for trial, some of the ones found guilty were taken to the then port of Shotwick for deportation to the colonies!

Situated 5 miles north of the Roman town of Chester on the Wirral Peninsular, Court Farm is the ideal base from which to explore the many local attractions which include; Chester City itself with its famous Roman walls which offer a complete walkway around the city, bars & nightlife to suit all tastes and the two storey shopping area known as 'The Rows', Chester Zoo, The Blue Planet Aquarium, the spooky Chester Ghost tours, Ellesmere Port Boat Museum, Ness Botanical Gardens, Chester Races and for the ladies, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet which is the largest of its kind in Europe. The City of Liverpool which was the European Capital of Culture for 2008 is a mere 25 minutes away. For those who prefer a slower pace of life, the mountains of North Wales can be seen from Court Farm offering excellent walking and cycling routes and are just a 20 minute drive away. There are two pubs that both serve food 7 days a week within a 1 mile radius of Court Farm, they make for a pleasant stroll with the lighter evenings of summer.
